April 26, 2014 at 11am is the official date and time we will do this all over again! We look forward to the many new faces we will see this coming year and welcoming back our loyal cloth diaper advocates.
Congratulations and thanks to all 2013 Great Cloth Diaper Change participants and supporters!! Guinness World Records verified that we broke the record… the new world record is 8,301 cloth diapers changed at one time at 182 qualifying locations in 15 countries: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, Chile, Germany, Spain, Finland, Great Britain, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Malaysia, Netherlands, United States!
Another 4 countries held nonqualifying (but cloth-diaper-awareness-increasing!) events: Mexico, Brazil, Korea, Philippines
84 cities hosted events that didn’t qualify for the Guinness World Record BUT DID ACCOMPLISH our goal of increasing awareness about reusable cloth diapers.
Unofficial babies changed: 10,029 (including sites that didn’t qualify per stringent Guinness regulations, but did in fact hold events increasing awareness about reusable cloth diapers in their communities.)
5 continents held GCDC events.
The photos below are from the 2012 event. Photos from 2013 will be posted shortly.
